Prince of Persia remake of The Sands of Time “Ubisoft has passed”major turning pointThe publisher said it was in development and the team was “reimagining the story.”
Ubisoft released a brief update on the development of the game, stating that an important milestone has been reached. Ubisoft added that more information about the game will be shared in the future. “As you know, we are a passionate team Ubisoft Montreal revives this legendary story and today we are pleased to announce that the project has passed a major internal milestone and development is moving forward,” says the post on X. “We look forward to sharing more in the future!”
What happened to the Prince of Persia The Sands of Time remake?
Let’s remember that there is a highly anticipated remake. Announced in 2020however, media reports suggested that the game’s development was not proceeding smoothly. In May of last year, Ubisoft announced that development of the game was returning to Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind the original 2003 game. “This decision is an important step and the team is Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft MumbaiUbisoft wrote in an official announcement last year that it would now take the time to retool the scope of the game to give you the best experience when it’s ready for this remake of the all-time classic.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced that the remake was live. conceptualization phase and that Ubisoft Montreal formed the development team, indicates that the game will not be ready anytime soon.
It would probably be best to focus on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which arrives in January 2024.
