Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 they welcome Season 5an update loaded with new features, as well as a new Battle Pass and Blackcellpresented on the official Activision blog and with a trailer.
The protagonist of the new content, Commander TombsReturning as one of five new Operators included in Season 05 and the BlackCell Battle Pass, available today, August 2, 2023, 6pm CEST.
Specifically, the new update shows that Commander Graves and Oz, one of the Shadow Company’s best leaders in cyberwarfare, are apparently about to launch a counterattack against the biggest threat to Modern Warfare in Season 05. All of this is told in the new update to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, and via Battle Pass and BlackCell.
Battle Pass and BlackCell
Season 05 Battle Pass includes multiple content 100 rewardsincluding two new weapons, Commander Graves and more. For the first time in Call of Duty history, a total of five Operators will be available across Battle Pass and BlackCell.
As with previous seasons, purchase of the Battle Pass requires 1,100 COD Points and gives access to all 100 levels, but BlackCell (available for €29.99) offers even more rewards in addition to everything found in Battle Standard passes.
These are the BlackCell contents from Season 05:
- Full access to the Season 05 Battle Pass, plus 20 Battle Tokens (25 on PlayStation). Full Battle Pass includes 1,400 COD Points and 100 content tiers that can be unlocked as you progress through the Battle Pass
- BlackCell Sector including 1,100 COD Points, new BlackCell Operator Arthur and his tactical pet Merlin, “Caliburn” traced weapon blueprint, and Gwen, a combat partner for weapon display
- A dedicated BlackCell sector that serves as an alternate starting location within the AO Battle Pass
- BlackCell Exclusive Battle Pass Additional Content: Eight BlackCell Operator Skins, one for Ghost, Alex, Roze, and the new Operator Velikan, and two for new Operators Oz and Graves, six Tracer Weapon Blueprints, and two Vehicle Skins
- Players who upgrade to BlackCell after purchasing the Battle Pass will also get 1,100 COD Points back
