Tales of Arise is currently the second installment in the series in terms of sales, behind Tales of Vesperia, which sold 2.88 million copies, per VGChartz.
In the interview, Tomizawa He said the game was designed to resonate with new and old players, meaning it wasn’t afraid to embrace new styles and features while staying true to the series’ core elements.
